who knew that a vote for obama was a vote for george bush?
every day i read a headline.
Instead of being an obama headline, it is a bush headline. Tax cuts for the rich extended. pointless occupations of iraq & afgan continue, even with osama dead. US will veto a palestinian state. Wall street is pardoned. whats really bugging me this morning is the al-awlaki death. I can understand waxing off osama. but we used to capture lower level terrorists right? We have all the 911 perps in jail, we captured them. seems that obama is getting drunk on the drones, & now if your al queda we're just gonna kill you. what exactly did awlaki do, or is that info secret & we should just trust the govt? I thought voting for obama was voting for change :upsidedow |

apparently a 'secret panel' is good enough |
Don't worry. Once Mitt Romney is elected president everything will get better.

If you are a threat to life, in any way, you can be killed without trial, warning, or negotiations. It makes no difference who is doing the killing, even a civilian can kill another if that other is a direct threat to life. |

War sucks, the exchange of lives to better our lives sucks. But add in a little self greed, and pointless it isn't... the war machine produces money and has improved your life in ways you may not realize.
Such as, the battery life in phones and portable devices have greatly improved in the last "few generations of devices" - ie: very short period of time - while making the cost go down, which is what kept the device cost up. This is a direct result of the war and the minerals found in Afghan. As well, the rebuilding of Iraq by our Corps and its currency being allowed to hit the world market, which America owns a shit tons of. While it's already in the works, if the end result happens, it can be a major boost for U.S. corps and even the gov. If you stop the war, the spending may stop, but the gdp it produces will go with it. If the economy isn't able to counter the loss, the loss may create a larger gap than the current massive spending does, add in a loss of 'personal' luxury, and you have to ask yourself - are you really ready to end it? |
Give it some time. It will take 50 years cleaning up the mess Bush left behind.

We should have done nothing until he was able to attack...
He said it was us or them -- better them than us ... . |
If you voted for Obama because of change or what he actually said, then you got exactly that, unless you heard more than he said....
Out of 500+ promises made, 49 have been broken, less than 10%. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me...ises/obameter/ |
