Part of the reason new users get tormented is to discourage them from getting into the business. The only people who want them in the business are those who are trying to sell them something (programmers, designers, affiliate reps). Anyone who isn't trying to sell them something yet still encourages and helps them is a fucking idiot.

Thankfully when I joined this board a year ago and got started in this business, no one tormented me. It seems as long as you don't come to GFY as a complete retard, people are willing to help you.

Yes, I failed. I sure did. The business has just paid for my house, cars, vacations, lifestyle and has allowed me to start a couple of new local businesses. You don't know me, troll. Don't act like you do.

When I was a newbie, there was no help. There were no webmaster resource sites, nobody willing to hold my hand. Everything I know about this business I taught myself. I read books, man pages, looked at a ton of source code and experimented. When I came to GFY I, like most GFY members, was already building sites. Most people who came here then weren't clueless newbies hoping to learn how to make a website about boobies.

Newbies today are usually clueless, helpless, lazy and stupid. They lack initiative. Why should I even think about teaching them something that I had to work my ass off to learn? There is a glut of information on the internet today. If they (you) are too stupid to use Google to search for what they want to learn, I sure as hell am not going to help them.

You and the other newbies need to lose your sense of entitlement. I don't owe you anything. Helping you learn so someday you may be able to compete with me more effectively is not on my list of priorities. Read some books and stop being so fucking helpless.
