Best credit monitoring/reporting program?

Just got a call from someone saying I had an open account with some bank for $4k and looking for a pay off for $1500. Sounds like a scam but these days, have to be careful in anyway.

I have a program through Amex but it sucks. It allows you to pull updates but not actual reports, they want $21 each time.

I used to have one with TransUnion which was great, but then they changed the program around and only allows you to pull your credit report with TU and no one else. I'd like to have something that I can pull a monthly report for ALL 3 and notifies me on updates to my credit.

Any suggestions?

Even though you gave me a smart ass comment in my other thread, I'll help you out because I'm a nice guy :321GFY

I use http://www.identityguard.com/

They are very thorough, have incredibly detailed reports, email you whenever there is an update to your credit score or any activity under your name at all, and monitor/show you the scores from all transunion, experian, and equifax.

ive heard of that one too. the big thing I hate is when I get an update, it only shows the summary in the one I use now which is lame and I have no clue whats going on.
