Young Teachers are Awful!

The girl is in her mid-twenties and speaks, well, I'll let Stewie explain it:

She constantly makes errors on my grades, that I must police and have corrected. She never accepts responsibility for her errors and always makes excuses. She'll change assignments after they've already been turned in and claim we should of expected the changes. WTF :1orglaugh How do they hire someone like this? No wonder our education system is shit.

/rant

MetaMan 09-29-2011 08:06 AM

What makes you think we give a flying fuck about your junior high math teacher?
isnt the recess bell ringing? go fuck off already.

I'm 32 years old, going back to school and commenting on the type of education in schools today. If you don't care to read such posts, I don't give a flying fuck, go fuck off already :)

It's a cartoon that perfectly describes the way the professor speaks. It's the same as using a picture or animated gif in other threads. Man, nothing but hate today. Grumpy fuckers :1orglaugh

:1orglaugh Damn dude, I kind of feel bad for you. To have this much anger over a person's post that doesn't even directly affect you. You alright bro?

AaronM 09-29-2011 08:25 AM

I once saw an English teacher who was Asian and could barely speak English and there was no way you could understand most of what she said.

I would expect that in Asia but not in a U.S. College.

That is the first time I've seen my handle being used in a thread to mock or insult me. How did you think of that? Wow, you sir, you are clever! I'm staying clear of any argument with you in the future, because surely, I'll Fail. <----oh I did it too! We're both awesome!

bronco67 09-29-2011 08:51 AM

Your user name is kind of ironic....just sayin.

feel bad for yourself. A 32 year old getting failed by a teacher in their 20s? Ouch.

RebelR 09-29-2011 09:31 AM

I usually don't play grammar police, but since this is a comment on the breakdown of the educational system I can't resist

Anyway, I agree. I think many teachers are now in this profession for the wrong reasons, and may not necessarily be qualified to do the task. I remember back in high-school having a teacher that used to rely on the more intelligent students to show her how to teach. I did not exactly instill much confidence in her ability to teach.

czarina 09-29-2011 09:39 AM

what are you, 17?

Man, what a bunch of angry grumpy mother fuckers! You guys need a few beers, a night out, something.

Can we take our computers?

thickcash_amo 09-29-2011 12:08 PM

There was a teacher going back to school in my Ethics class over the summer, and she couldn't even spell. Mind you she was only a 3rd grade teacher, but isn't that a pretty important time in education?? I was glad that she was changing her profession, but sad to know that there are 4th graders out there that had her as a teacher.

iamlili 09-30-2011 04:02 AM

she will never become a good teacher without experience. Give her time, she will be better. you are not born to be a good teacher

CurrentlySober 09-30-2011 05:11 AM

I cant afford an education...

Babaganoosh 09-30-2011 05:22 AM

I can't stand that upward inflection thing a lot of young women do. Couple that with their inability to form a sentence without using the word "like" at least once and it makes me want to stick a cock in their mouths.

Actually, depending on how your teacher did it, that's in keeping with Piaget and Vygotsky's cognitive development theories that learning is best accomplished from "more knowledgeable peers."

50,000 posts and you can't think of an insult a little more clever. You lack creativity!

I agree, but this particular teacher used to ask the students "is this right?" and "how do I do this?" I think she was a guidance councilor who got placed in a finite math class

TheSquealer 09-30-2011 08:40 AM

WTF? did GFY become a teen chat room now?

I'm confused.

Well, that sounds like your teacher may have been using critical thinking techniques - not GIVING the answer, but allowing the students to devise their own methodologies and reach their own conclusions.

Many older teachers have become set in their ways and focus mainly on maintaining discipline so end up using either lecture techniques and/or busy work. Perhaps your teacher was using techniques you did not recognize as being the "normal" teaching style to facilitate your critical thinking and thus learning the subject matter as opposed to rote memorization.

Contrary to what some of the people here seem to believe, adults do go back to college, and care about academia. Why you, and others, relate a discussion on the quality of professors in such institutions with being a teenager shows a lot about who you people are.

Edit* One more point, I paid over $8,000 out of my pocket this year to go back to college. I'd say that gives me the right to express my opinion about a professor who's salary I help pay for, and for the quality of education I do pay for.

Contrary to what you think, this is a adult porn webmaster forum called "go fuck yourself" for people making money online in adult... not your personal twitter page where you can post tweets on your teachers attitudes and remarks.

This is what you're looking for. Accounts are free to set up:

Really, if I check the posts you've made, you're telling me not one is similar in nature? Nor have you ever commented on anything but business threads? And if you commented on other threads, they are only comments telling the authors to make twitter accounts.

People like you make me laugh, you bitch and moan about someone or something but turn around and do the very same thing yourself. Do us all a favor and STFU :1orglaugh
