Young Airlines provide better service/experience

Why is that? Old, crusty employees hate their jobs while young, cute employees are full of life and happy to have a job? Better management? Better airplanes? Lower expenses? This article doesn't particularly say that younger airlines win, but it's quite obvious when you look at the top airlines of the world and also if you do any traveling yourself.

They aren't made arrogant and apathetic by unions yet.

Young employees have yet to have their dreams crushed like a cockroach under the shoe of corporate greed and apathy.

Most US airlines have seniority rule. if you ever fly AA or any other US based airline you will see senior citizens working those routes. All hot babes work on Eagle flights.

QFT.

Young airlines aren't blowing their budget on overpaying an old useless staff who can't be fired.

Experience Counts

Most new airlines pay their pilots barely over minimum wage & the hours they work, sooner or later a crash will occur. As several commuter airline have had happened.
Almost every air crash lately has been on commuter and was was determined to be the pilot went to sleep on take off.
When your in mid-Pacific and a cargo door blows off, I want that 60 year-old guy with mega-hours of experience, to get me to land, as happened back in the 80's? (70's).
Unions?? Best Buy employees have no union, but they treat you like scum.

They promissed the old employees and nice pension if they worked hard for 25-30 years. The employees put in their end of the bargin and then the company said - oh never mind. Then you wonder why they older employees are mad?

Mad at themselves for not understanding the system they bought into.
