Is that dead body real? His skin, well erm not sure what you even call that on his face but ya, it looks so weird.

twistyneck 09-23-2011 11:45 PM

I'm going to guess they will have a closed casket funeral.

Spunky 09-23-2011 11:56 PM

The pictures didn't bother me at all really. There is something about accident photos, where the blood and flesh are still red and fresh, those are the pictures that freak me out. This man was obviously dead for a long time, and didn't seem as "human" as the recent pictures of people dying.

Anyway, interesting pictures.

Yeah... the fact that he was there for so long and nobody caring to check up on the guy is what was sad to me. Also these re more of mummification like photos, not really gore.

Eyeball 09-24-2011 03:39 AM

They spent more time on that post than they did looking out for their neighbour.

As spunky say, loads of us will end up in that state. I hope i die before my wife so it's her they find 12 months later in a pool of her own shit.

Wow, that is sad that no one was around to check and see what happened to him....

on another note, I have shot scenes in abandoned houses, would have been a real mood killer to find something like this...

I've seen hundreds of dead bodies and been in operating theatres where i've seen some amazing things and it didnt phaze me one bit but i too hate gore/accident sites - they turn my stomache.

I used to be a nurse and have seen some messed up stuff, no problem at all.

However if I even see an injection on TV I flinch....

Its a strange thing.

Interesting pics and story.

I have a friend that's a mortician, the things he's shown me, and he's told me, you couldn't make up if you wanted to.

I also worked at an old folks home for a year when I was 19, that really put things in perspective for the rest of my life. So many great interesting people, slowly dying, with nobody visiting them, but somehow making the best of their last days. The human spirit is resilient :thumbsup
