$5.95 to transfer in card is not nice! Paxum fees is only 25 cents!

Talia_Payoneer 09-20-2011 03:52 AM

The $5.95 transfer is a bank transfer - Paxum charges $50 for a wire.

So you say you wire for 5.95?

moeloubani 09-20-2011 03:55 AM

how many terrorists have used Paxum cards to commit illegal murders? none.

the same can't be said for Payoneer.

wah wah wahhhhhhhh

Just wanted to pop in and clarify something here. Paxum bank transfers are actually $5 USD per transaction.

Our complete fee structure is clearly listed on our site.

Thanks! :thumbsup

Not a wire transfer - a local bank transfer (in 40+ countries) and the other 170+ countries are SWFIT. The local transfers don't have any additional bank fees, SWIFT sometimes do.

So why did you compare your "bank transfer" to our wire fee? Our "bank transfer" fee is $5.00 :error

seolinker 09-21-2011 10:48 AM

Ruth, please elaborate more ... I see that loading/withdrawing with wire costs $50 on your site, am I wrong ?

ACH is $5, but it's 1) not wire 2) only available within US.

Paxum also has EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) for all other countries.

Hi seolinker,

The only purpose I had in posting this information was to ensure there was clarity based on the incorrect comparison Talia from Payoneer made in her post:

A bank transfer is considered EFT/ACH/direct deposit in my mind, and for that we have the option for US clients to use EFT at $5 USD per transaction. We will be implementing International EFT for other countries soon.

In my opinion, it didn't seem right for a comparison to be made of two completely different transaction types. This gives a false impression to those people who may not have prior knowledge of our system and options.

If you have any questions regarding Paxum I'd be happy to discuss them with you directly on instant messenger or via email, or in a new thread.

Thanks :)

I had seen that there was ACH in the US - we charge $3 for that. We also have international transfers, which I understood you do not currently offer, so wires are the only way for your users to receive transfers if they do not live in the US. Thus the comparison. My apologies if I was incorrect.

ladida 09-22-2011 04:11 AM

Seems like a legit comparison a little badly worded. They offer bank transfer to india for 5$. Same person can only get wire from paxum (outside card i believe). So why all the fuss, its a legit comparison.

mafia_man 09-22-2011 08:20 AM

Which provider has the cheapest transfers to the UK?

seolinker 09-22-2011 08:28 AM

Payoneer, not exactly. They offer withdrawal to their or other debit/credit card.

Exactly. It wasn't even badly worded, it was 100% accurate. Paxum acting like clowns again, trying to hijack a thread they can't even understand.

What do you expect her to do, compare their bank transfer to India to your non-existent bank transfer to India?

The only "bank transfer", if any, to India you have is $50. Correct?

Um, we also offer to withdraw to our debit card. As for an external card, from their fees:

Funds Withdrawal To External Credit Card (Other than Paxum Card)1% (minimum $6.00)

That means a MINIMUM of $6 for a transfer to, essentially, their account or a prepaid card. And it's a percentage - at least 1%, so for those of you who receive $1000 per transfer (and most of you receive WAY more), that would mean you would need to pay at least $10 per transfer. Just depends how much you are making, but considering most of ours are $5.95...
