Sign your name on the back and send it to me. I'll take care of it :)

Well, since I've never seen a $6k check...your best best is to take following steps:

1) place check in an envelope

2) seal it tightly and send it my way

I'll inspect it and let you know if its damaged or not.

J. Falcon 09-16-2011 02:17 PM

That's what you get for drinking coffee.

thickcash_amo 09-16-2011 02:19 PM

Oops. Maybe don't use your check as a coaster!

Hmm, I haven't found a money order place that let's you go above $1,000 per money order. I think even USPS has a $500 limit per single money order. Always have to end up buying multiple.

And yet so happy!

A money order is purchased for the amount desired. In this way it is similar to a certified cheque. The main difference is that money orders are usually limited in maximum face value to some specified figure (for example, the United States Postal Service limits domestic postal money orders to US $1,000.00 as of July 2008) while certified checks are not.

I've personally yet to see a place go over $1k, but you never know. I guess maybe the limit is higher outside of the US?
