Ah the old conundrum of advert quality vs. source quality...

ive always done better with textlinks vs banners.

and they are cheaper as well.

my textlinks get about 10k unique clickthrus a day, which is by far more than a simple banner ad will do.

a site may have a lot of impressions, but how many actual clickthrus does it have.

sure a site can advetsie 900 billion impressions a day, but it doesnt mean people are clicking on the ads, just means the site has a lot of traffic.

and if the site has a hard time selling their inventory you got to know why.

I agree, people get used to ads, so it's often a good idea to make the ads not look like ads.
But it depends on whether you want to force traffic, or want those who click to actually be interested in what they click on. A banner can do that very well.

post clickthru stats as well as impressions, impressions alone isnt enough info.

+1 ... people get netsavvy and know what not to click. Fakeplayerbanners suck the most.

we buy long terms, got high budgets and been around for a while. Now the rest of the trolls get out ;) I can filter on my end pretty well, so if you dont have a l33t system no problem at at.

Indeed. I usually make my own ads with chosen cropped pictures and text above and below to call to action.

How is that relevant? Clickthru rate depends greatly on the quality of the banner. How clickable it is. If we get an advertiser with a very unclickable banner, it might only get 10% of the clicks a good banner would get. So the ctr isn't really that relevant.
Besides, why do you care? it's not like you're looking to buy banner spots anyways.
