anyone use the .png's?
.png's are awesome... but someone just brought up a point that aol users may not be able to see png's. is this correct?
ie and ns and i think all the others now accepted pngs. |
use jpegs

jpegs usually get a fux0red when you get them to a reasonable file size. to retain clarity i usually need to use gifs, but i can a lot of times get a smaller file with a png. been using them ok, but just wondering if i'm losing traffics that way. not for the thumbs or pics, just banners and stuff.

oh come on, someone out there knows aol and tweaks images...

the only concern with png's is that you can actually exploit ie with them. m$ sucks! |
The only thing I really use .png images for is the format PNG24 with transparency, for doing overlay transparencies in FlashMX.
