Watch Serena Williams Go Off on ?Hater? Umpire During US Open Final (VIDEO)

Remember when Serena Williams went all Joe Pesci on a line referee at the US Open two years ago? Well, during today's women's final match (which she lost in straight sets to Samantha Stosur), she did it again. Here's a video of Williams' full outburst.

After being called for a code violation during the second set for yelling "Come on!" at her ball before it had reached Stosur, Williams approached chair umpire Eva Asderaki to argue the call and said "Are you the one who screwed me over last time? Yeah, you are." (She wasn't.)

During the next changeover, Williams really unleashed:

Who would do such a thing? And I never complain. Wow... We're in America last I checked. Can I get a water or am I gonna get violated for a water? Really, don't even look at me! I promise you, don't look at me, 'cause I am not the one. Don't look my way.

Williams, who never complains, also refused to shake that unattractive hater Asderaki's hand at the end of the match, because she's such a great sport who never complains. Never!

I watched the match on TV live and went from rooting for Serena, to cheering on Stosor, because I was so appalled by Serena's terrible court demeanor.

It was really unfortunate, since she truly is one of the greatest players ever.

Congrats to Samantha Stosor for hanging tough and gutting out the biggest match of her career. :thumbsup

The funny part was that Serena got her ass handed to her in the first set, mostly due to her low first serve percentage, and a higher than usual number of unforced errors.

Only when she screamed out and was penalized for a point at the start of the 2nd set for hinderance, did Serena's game start showing signs of life, but that was mostly from the adrenaline rush caused by her rage.

Once that wore off, Serena started hitting sloppy again, and Stosor settled down and closed out the match.

I'm sure that Serena may blame her loss on bad officiating, but from my viewpoint, she was beaten by a player that was more fit, serving better, and hitting a greater variety of shots on this particular day, while Serena seemed flat from the get go.
