Does anyone know of a reliable data recovery company? I have a old 250gb wd hd that I need the data recovered.

Whatever you do, stay away from a Chinese guy named SunnyDreamSpace. Must have decided it was too much work and he just kept my drive without even responding to me ever again.

He's going to feel the lick of fire on judgement day for that one.

They're great and reasonably priced. A friend of mine just had them get some source code back that was (foolishly) stored on a RAID 0. The drives were sent overnight to them on a Monday (so they received the drives on Tuesday) and they had the data back to him on Thursday morning.

While they were working on getting his data back I taught him to use a 3rd party GIT repository. :1orglaugh

lol, but yeah they are normally pretty fast

I call two days pretty fast. I wasn't complaining about their speed at all.

Is the Drive Clicking or doesnt spin at all?
