What is your opinion of the BMW X6?
 

Is it the coolest car on the road today, or is it a mismatch of 4x4 and sports saloon?

In my opinion, having owned several Porsche's, 2 Ferrari's, a Lamborghini Gallardo and an Audi R8, the X6 gets just as many looks, yet doesn't get the abuse. A Range rover sport is an antique by comparison, as is a Audi Q7 a barge with bad handling and far too much presence.

The X6 is fast, handles sublimely, seats 4 in comfort, and is still rare on the road, giving exclusivity and admiring glances.

Some hate it, some love it.

Whats your view ?

Reason for asking I'm about to change cars again but cannot see a replacement for my X6.

I see one or two a day... I actually see less X3's than I do X6's.

Nice looking cars, though. If you like it enough, get another one.

Hate it both visually and for not making much sense. Why build a utility vehicle and make the design severely cut into its utility?

That said, my wife just got an X5 and it's a great vehicle.

If you want to stand out on the road & get some looks, stick with your previous choices IMO :)

The only issue I see is that the head room for the rear passengers looks tight. And I would bet it's a head banger getting in and out of the rear.

I think they look pretty nice, but I am not a big fan of crossover types.

love the front, hate the rear...

Didn't like it until I saw the one down the street here. All white black rims pretty DAMN awesome.

What are you smoking that a X6 gets looks.

Maybe bad looks, most people think it looks like a pile of shit.

Get a Cayenne Turbo or X5m, and you'll thank me later.

i saw one of them the other day, which is rare, cause i live i hardly see any cars at all... tractors, yes.. but not cars.

same here but 5-6 and 5-6 Bentley continentals as well.

A car for people with more money than taste.

Probably a great vehicle for the snow. It doesn't snow where I live so I wouldn't need it for that. I say it looks pretty cool :thumbsup I notice them drive by.

i actually like the look of the X6, the M edition is awesome. It is not all that practical for space, but I love the way it looks.

I prefer my X5 over the 6 anyday.... it just looks odd to me.

I prefer my m3 e90 over any other BMW
