CIVMatt 09-09-2011 10:41 AM

Lions vs Bucs always fucking blacks out, it did last year too. Tampa has the shittest fanbase I swear

AndyA 09-09-2011 10:47 AM

Yep in Tampa... Home Opener no less... since the owners bought Manchester United they got no dough for Tampa... no love

Scott McD 09-09-2011 11:06 AM

I think Tampa have a game in England this season aswell right ??

Always wanted to know how NFL fans feel about that. I'd be pissed if one of my teams home games was "away"...

Verbal 09-09-2011 11:30 AM

Gotta love the Glazers! Pieces of shit

sicone 09-09-2011 11:31 AM

Did Al Davis buy the team? He's been blacking out Raider games to the local market for years

ExtremeBank_Adam 09-09-2011 12:07 PM

Just go to the game... $35 for cheap seats. Alysha and I will be there... club level, section 233.

icymelon 09-09-2011 12:20 PM

buy tickets and go to the game

L-Pink 09-09-2011 12:22 PM

Most games last year were blacked out.

CIVMatt 09-09-2011 12:45 PM

Eh maybe I will drive over there, hey Adam saw you last year at a Magic game but didn't want to bother you in the crowd with the company you were with.

Adam, I am pretty sure I sat right next to you two at the last pre-season game and didn't even realize it. 233 row 1?

I was with my wife and her VERY CONSERVATIVE family friends.

JamesChoopa 09-09-2011 02:09 PM

Freeman better do work! He's a QB of mine in one of my leagues. haha

Shannon G 09-09-2011 02:14 PM

Did that just happen today? They were just talking about being able to see game coverage on FOX news yesterday morning.

thickcash_amo 09-09-2011 03:04 PM

Oh well, they suck anyway

DudeRick 09-09-2011 03:32 PM

It's for your own good! :1orglaugh

Rows are letters in our section, we are in row H. Last 2 seats on the aisle, next to section 234. If you're there all year, be sure to say hi.

We'll be there all year, except the Falcons game (we'll be out of the country). We're also going to the Bucs / Saints game in New Orleans on November 6 and the Bucs / Jaguars game in Jacksonville in December. We love Bucs football, for better or worse. :thumbsup

My Pimp 09-09-2011 05:25 PM

Then I would be pissend, too.

We were sitting with my wife's family friends, in their seats. I'm sure we will be back in that section, I will say hi for sure. What part of town do you live?

Well, what a bummer that was... They better get their shit together or this is gonna be a long season.

We live out in the country a bit, east of Tampa.

Just in case you don't know what we look like... here's a couple pics of Alysha taken at today's game.

The most fickle for sure. It might be more economics, but the away fans show up more at Tampa games then anywhere else Ive seen an NFL game.

I was at the game today, probably 1/4 were Lions fans (me), 2/4 bucs fans, and 1/4 empty seats. When the bucs were trailing near the end of the game, a lot of people were leaving. The bucs almost made a comeback.

IMO opinion, Tampa residents as a whole, don't respect the fact they even have a sports franchise in their town.

The Ray Jay used to always be sold out, but the tickets were more expensive. Of course thats when they had a decent team.

The Rays can't fill the seats even with a winning team.

You two rock. LOL Alysha with a big smile on her face! Glad to know you are still together and loving life. Puts a smile on my face too.

That's really the problem I believe.

I think Tampa fans are just generally pissed at the Glazers for the staffing selections.

Freeman is a good player, but my guess is they will trade him for a couple of shitty low income players, given the Glazers track record. They were lucky to have Dungy and they let him go. They were forgiven for hiring Gruden when he won the Super Bowl, but we all know Dungy built that team.

I was on the other side in the nosebleeds.

I got burnt.

Seriuosly.

Not too mention, the 30 min waits in the beer line.

Almost asked myself if it was worth it, but then Im a Lions fan, of course its worth it. LOL

We got burned, too. We even spent quite a bit of time in the club area, in the air conditioning. No 30 minute lines in there, lol.

More interesting than the game... :winkwink:

:thumbsup
