...from withdrawal pains. I am still shaky but beginning to settle down enough to use the keyboard. The electricity was off from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM.

take it easy some days and you'll be fine. 8 hours without electricity is nightmare1!!

when electricity is off (thanks god very rarely) i go nuts.

I had a couple of 12 to 17 hours without electricity in Dec.. I guess nobody called the electric co in the neighborhood.. LOL..
Next time , I call right away...:)

That's a good time to venture outside. I know it's bright out there, but sometimes ya just gotta do it.

Well...I actually did go outside. It was a horrifying experience. I thought my eyeballs were seared and I would never see again. In addition the fresh air almost made me hyperventilate. I went back inside traumatized and sat trembling from withdrawal.

I have the same reaction. I find it?s easier to just do a couple shots of Tequila before you do anything that brave again!:Graucho

yes, no internet connection can be a much worse experience though. because with power outage, you know the power will come back on in time. a fucked up i-net connection, theres no telling when.

You know, big-ass UPS's aren't all that expensive. Plus my laptop is good for 4 hours or so on battery power. Outside is dangerous.
