    Few Big Blogs or Many?

    What do you guys think? Is it better to build a few big blogs centered around a few sponsors updated with lots of posts a day or many small site blogs updated once a month if that? What is better?

      For me personally, I try to build 1 blog a day and the blogs that start to get more traffic/more searches I focus more on and update more regularly and than update the ones receiving less traffic only periodically.

                  Could the one blogs a day be on subdomains of my one big blog?

                  Was just figuring if I am gonna write 50 blog posts a day, why not just do it on 5 blogs.

                      I usually create as many as my blogs as I can on .com .net or .org domains (and if I don't have the cash available to do so I atleast create a free blog instead) however I'm doing a test right now in which I bought a vague .com and I'm using it just for subdomains to put a network of blogs on. I only have 4 subdomain blogs right now but as far as I can tell they are getting pretty good results from search engines so I would say it does work.

                                          do a Google search 10 random keywords, come back and tell me how many of those searches brings up a sub-domain in the top 10.

                                              A few quality big blogs and lots and lots of small ones on domains and subdomains.

                                              and instead of useing a free blog host just put it on your own subdomain because that is all they do anyway.

                                                                      We need to futureproof our business model to be able to cope with whatever algorithm updates Google might come up with.
