Seeking a new hosting company. Who would you recommend?
Just looking for a good solid, honest company that will answer the phone when you call and has 24/7 365 support.
I will have to move a large amount of sites and I need this to be done as easy as possible. A lot of the sites are in php.
Thank you,

Thank you,

I use RockstarVPS, ICertified and for my tubes M3 Hosting, all on managed, dedicated servers. They all provide excellent servers, reasonable costs and great customer service.

I'm just an ordinary sponsored affiliate with no ties to these companies, simply a happy customer of theirs! I still get a bill every month. :2 cents:

i am at www.techiemedia.net for 6 years now i think - i would have changed long ago if i wasnt satisfied :)

Caligari 09-04-2011 05:27 PM

Amerinoc and Certified are awesome. Avoid DWHS hosting like the plague, they have the most anemic shared servers i've ever had the displeasure of hosting sites on. 3 times yanked for using too many resources where i am using more on cert host and never have a problem.

I'm pretty sure Amerinoc does not have any phone support which makes all the "go with Amerinoc" replies funny. I would go with natnet sense you need phone support.

"Things have been good but lately, they are only doing support through email and never answer their phone."

This is the reply by Amerinoc...

"Please contact me directly on the ICQ # 5 605 48 95 go to our live chat so we can figure out what the issue is. Our primary source of support has been the email/web help desk for 10 years so we can easily archive the history and it has worked well for us. Are you getting confirmation emails that the ticket was received?"

d-null 09-04-2011 07:43 PM

Amerinoc and Quadranet both have very good support :thumbsup

I've been with several hosting companies and AmeriNOC delivers. Not just standard stuff but above and beyond the call of duty. Amerinoc = server professionalism DEFINED!

My post was about phone support which I thought they didn't have but anyway... I've been using them this whole year, they are usually fast answering tickets but not always. Sometimes it took over an hour or so to get a reply. I'm happy with them though, they've helped me out quite a bit. The prices they have are the best around too.

In the two+ years I was using natnet I never had a problem getting a hold of them. Their replies were always under 10 minutes and usually 5 minutes or less. I know I had over 150 tickets too, not one took over 10 minutes for a reply. The techs that reply are the highest level too, you don't have to go through a multi-tiered support system. But you will pay for that kind of support...

I use amerinoc - Should you need even better service... Mojohost

edgeprod 09-05-2011 12:30 AM

I migrated to Mojohost several years ago, and have never looked back. I can't give you a stronger recommendation for anyone else. They've handled small jobs right up to server clusters for me, and I've been extremely pleased with the results.

Iv been using HOSTGATOR for some of my sites for well over 3 years now, never had any probs and they have always been very good with support

spunky99 09-05-2011 01:27 AM

mojohost for sure, we moved a ton of sites to multiple servers with very little issues at all

Certified Hosting :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

sojproductions 09-05-2011 01:42 AM

For your main criterias it has to be NatNet, first class support. We moved to them around 8 months ago, transferred dozens of sites, databases, etc etc and they handled everything really well and went above and beyond in my opinion.

I'm experienced with 4 of the big hosts, and support was the ultimate importance for me which gives it to NatNet.
