What is hacked then? Isn't the DNS changed by the registar IE godaddy?

it looks like NetNames registrar has been hacked, not DNS or websites.
The idiots just changed NS records for the domains.

Acer.com and UPC.com are both registered there and if you'd check them with
whois.sc - you will see lame DNS servers.
didn't check all of them, but these two only.
