I think August is one of the worst months of the year... Jan and Feb are even worse IMO

I'm hoping September is prettier.

sales are great, going up month after month...

but again.. im talking about mainstream..

my extra auto-pilot cash from adult remains steady, no change at all. and no point in working extra in adult right now, if it makes no sense, because more work is not equal to more money in the adult business 2011.

better to put that energy in mainstream where more work equals more money.

As a host ours where down about 8% then normal. Slow month. :disgust

Summer tends to slow down for us. June and July were great but August was low. Yay, September!

June sucked, july rocked, aug is our 3rd best month ever.
Now living next to a frat house a few days a week there is a correlation with the kids leaving (sales sucking) & them returning (sales picking up). That's that really. We have no complaints. Same old same old. Still growing from year to year, & that's all that matters really.

Last 2 weeks in august were horrible - summer slowdown isnt a myth, my jun/jul/aug patterns are identical for the past 5 years. Worst 3 months of the year every year. So let's hope september picks up!

Our august was not down 25%. It was about the same as july.

Down 50% with the same # of clicks as July. WTF.

Kinda glad it wasn't just me though. My ratios doubled. Horrible.

2 penny: for the record: if your your sales this month were the same as last year (or last years) do not be too happy because you are NOT making any progress...

Surprisingly August was the best month in my 3 years history, sales up by 30%. I know summer is rather quite, so I hope my sites will perform even better now.

Seriously though, I've NEVER witnessed 'summer slowdown' in this biz, but August has been a bit shit.
