It takes a Labrador Retriever to perfectly sum up this waste of life. Man that is sad.

i agree, but the dog is just taking a nap

bronco67 08-26-2011 05:46 AM

The article didn't mention that he was tired from playing fetch for 20 minutes before that picture was taken.

CurrentlySober 08-26-2011 05:56 AM

The dog was also dead...

bronco67 08-26-2011 05:57 AM

My chocolate lab is laying right near my desk, just like the picture, except I'm not dead.

cykoe6 08-26-2011 06:07 AM

A sad picture that reminds us of the real life consequences of war.

A sad story really. But can someone tell me what Jon Tumilson was fighting and died for? His story could be a part of "Time to Live and Time to Die" book written by Erich Maria Remarque. If you read it you know what I'm talking about...

porno jew 08-26-2011 07:11 AM

Yea.. He was fighting for his country and his fellow service men. He might have agreed with the politics with the war or maybe he didn't but if you read anything about the guy he was living his dream of Being a Navy Seal.

He wanted to be a Navy Seal from the time he was a teenager. He accomplished something in his short life that very few people in this world have done. He was fighting for what he believed in.

John-ACWM 08-26-2011 09:26 AM

Reminds me of Hachi movie. Sad, sad.

brassmonkey 08-26-2011 09:30 AM

dogs are pretty smart. if we could talk to them i bet we would learn alot.

DWB 08-26-2011 09:57 AM

Is it common to bring pets to funerals these days? I haven't been to one in the USA in a while.

Vendzilla 08-26-2011 11:29 AM

Sad that if it was a pit bull, some people on this forum would want it euthanized as a danger to little kids.

My dog is one of the only "people" I would want at my funeral.

I want people to party remembering my life, not mourning my death. Having a funeral that gets shut down by the cops, now that would be cool

alexchechs 08-26-2011 12:07 PM

Wow... so touching to see animals that in touch with their wners
