The storm we got up in my area last night was the worst storm I've seen in a long time. It was like the war of the worlds. Lighting I haven't seen before. Was fucking wild stuff.

Category 4 sounds like it will clean some of that black grimy filth all over the city.

(Oh, were you being sarcastic? Were you trying to say that this is the first hurricane to hit the North East? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh ) . . |

I live in New York. About an hour north of the city. We won't be hit as hard, but we have a crapload more trees. That said, 60mph winds aren't that unusual here for a real bad storm - two or three times a year. More worried about basement flooding / general flooding. We've gotten 4ft before from less rain than this.
If it brings anything more than 70-80 mph winds, I think we might have an issue. |

I live in NYC. I'm going to ustream it. We don't get too many hurricanes here lol.

I am glad I will be out of town but at the same time a little worried about leaving my place un-attended to. But I figure we'll be fine... Just alot of rain and winds... 4 floors up I will be fine. The storms usually mellow out the closer they get to NYC
