i'm christian, non-denominational.

i think that the religion has been watered down so much by televangelists and texans that it has really lost it's meaning.

the bible has some of the best(and worst) stories/teachings. i dont really believe that a lot of it is the "Word of God" itself - men are not perfect, and therefore can be corrupted, which is what you get when you let a stupid man write the book while you dictate it.

i think if you take it at face value though, as it is, God basically granted us life as a gift - don't fuck with fools in the meantime and have fun.

Nice comment yt. I agree with you on that. The reason being is that depending on where you were raised and by who many people have different beliefs. It's hard for me to say that I'm rigth because I was born into a Baptist family so every other religion in the entire world is wrong. How would I or anyone else know that for sure? With the number of corrupt Teachers of the Word in any religion I find it hard to know which one has it 100% accurate if any of them. Most of it is about money like everything else.

i think that anyone can usually agree the ten commandments are good inherent rules to live by. don't kill, don't steal, and even though as much as you would like to, don't fuck your neighbor's wife or steal his shit. some fucking greedy priest penciled in things like the 10% tithe - God doesn't need your money. just act right, love thy neighbor, give him traffic.

to me god is nor a person, thing, or spirt, but yet god is what i give thanks for life, and everything about life. but when i lose all hope of things, i pray deep in my head for help from god. causes if there is one, he is the only one i have to count on.

I believe in a higher power but not religion. Religion causes war, discrimination, and emotional stress (catholic guilt). I'm heading down the road of spirituality rather than organized religion. I hope there is a higher power.
