I thought you were in the UK. When did you move out here?

Four months ago. So, this is all still new to me.

Rochard 08-23-2011 11:48 PM

Didn't feel anything in Sacramento... But we are a bit north of San Fran and Alameda...

Rochard 08-23-2011 11:50 PM

3.6. We don't even get out of bed for that.

It was enough to wake my roommate up but we appear to be pretty close to the center. Funny that my parents in PA and me both had quakes today.

I'm still looking forward to surfing a tsunami...

What brought you to this side of the pond?

I left my last relationship and thought it was time to move back to the States but couldn't face the East Coast again. I have a lot of friends here. My best friend, Tofu lives in the area, etc. So, I am sharing a house with some old friends here in Alameda for the moment.

Tofu told me he moved to Portland. Is he back here again?

Yeah, very recently, I helped him move a few weeks ago. Portland was still pretty close though, considering most of our friendship we have been across the world from each other.

....ok, who's been dicking around with this thing?

Si 08-24-2011 10:45 AM

2 in the Canaries this week aswell, one monday and one today.

Then the one on the east coast yesterday.

Not suprising on the West Coast though. How long until Vancouver and Seattle get hit?

Also, is it just me or are the getting more common? or is it just we know about them more now because of the internet and media?
