Holy shit...have any of you heard about this movie? A buddy of mine got to see it and said that whatever I do, stay away from it.

So obviously...now I have to check it out.

Yes, most disturbing end to a movie I have ever seen. Used to think Irreversible was a depressing movie, but this one takes the cake. I don't want to spoil the ending for anyone, but let's just say the movie involves incest, snuff and child pornography (all fake obviously.) Banned in many countries.

Child porn? I heard it was more like infant porn.

Disturbing was definitely a work he used more than once to describe it.

It's supposed to be beautifully shot, but that doesn't usually mean anything to the average movie goer.

Yes, it was a beautifully made movie, and most of the acting was pretty good. You'd think something with subject matter like this would be a low budget splatter fest, but it's not. It's just so damn fucked up though.:(

The guy that plays the main character is a great actor. And yes, there is a scene that they refer to as "newborn porn". I guess I kinda blocked that scene out of my head. :helpme

I have it on my list, if you like these sick movies I suggest Death of a porno gang, it's also off the wall

I waver back and forth. I hear someone talk about it in person and I want to check it out.

Then before I make an attempt to track it down, I read someone's review online and do a 180.

And because of that, I really want to watch it. But probably won't. :1orglaugh

I watched it about a month ago. Like mentioned before, it's beautifully shot, has a great athmosphere, especially the pretty minimal and sick soundtrack makes you shiver. Also most actors did a tremendous job.

However, the "newborn porn" scene was absolutely unnecessary, it was only done to shock everyone, to provocate and to get people to talk about the movie. This ruined it a lot for me, as if you just needed something to shock the main character, you could have used something less questionable.

Could have been a great movie, but imho most scenes of excessive violence are useless and unnecessary. :2 cents:
