the blog thing thing

Hello

I want to start with a blog as my first project
so my questions are:

i will use hostgator as my host and i will buy the baby plan
- unlimited Domains
- unlimited Disk Space
- unlimited Bandwidth

so how many blogs can i create with these 6.36$ /month on this host?
and the other question is what do i have to do when i sell one?
do i sell the hostname or the content?

and one other questsion is are there any pay per click adult afflicts?
or should i use the sign up refs?

thank you very much for the answers

and plz pm2000 dont post your link here its in all the threads and its not helping me at all

I'm interested on the advice you get back, as I am not good at creating a blog network (which would really help me)

Good Luck with your new project

Rob

Sell one what? What are you selling?

plember 08-21-2011 07:24 AM

when i want to sell a blog

drmadcat 08-21-2011 07:57 AM

i dont realy think its a question of how many you can make it will only become an issue when you start receiving a lot of traffic

you dont sell your host name you sell the domain and site you could transfer the website to the buyers host or give them your login to download themselves

adult pay per click i dont know of any

if you want to buy adult advertising or sell traffic use juicyads.com

and i find xprofiles.com
has a realy good payout of $1 per free sign up

hope this helps

If you're selling blogs, shouldn't you already know the answer?

plember 08-21-2011 08:05 AM

Babaganoosh 08-21-2011 08:08 AM

Do you have any idea what you're doing at all?

Are you wanting to build websites and sell them to other people or what?

plember 08-21-2011 08:11 AM

i want to setup a few blogs

maybe sell it later that was a side question

If you sell a site the owner is going to want the domain, design, content and scripts on that site.

Oh, and hostgator sucks. Always remember: you get what you pay for.

chickahoona 08-21-2011 09:23 AM

hostgator may suck or not, but its better for this guy not to spend so much money because he will quit in 1 week anyway...

plember 08-21-2011 09:32 AM

now we are getting nasty

Babaganoosh 08-21-2011 10:38 AM

Nobody is getting nasty. He is being realistic. Newbies come into the business thinking it will be easy money and when they realize they're in over their heads they just disappear. We have seen hundreds or thousands just like you come and go.

plember 08-21-2011 11:02 AM

so when i am gone next week so why do you write in the help section anyway?

This isn't a cozy academy...

jollyhumper 08-22-2011 02:11 AM

Find some niches, make yourself a couple of blogs. (Don't do to many)
Fill it with content.

work hard on building traffic. This is the hard bit and it takes time.
(luckily for me, this is the most interesting part, probably why I hang in there....)

When you've managed success you can start thinking of selling it.

Nothing is better than to have a clear goal you want to achieve. You obviously have one.
Stick to it, but focus on what you need to do now.

It's like starting a band, don't focus to much on what your first record should be named, you'd better focus on making the band sounds good first :pimp

This forum isn't the most "friendly" one, but don't let that scare you.
Focus on proving them wrong! :)

I've been here for 6 months and they haven't killed me yet....

good luck

Very true, and I'm way to noob to actually be entitled an opinion, I guess.

When the challenge of making it work is an interesting one, then you'll survive.
I haven't made profit yet, didn't expect to, but I know I will.... some day :p
