Further, rather than just banning new imports, Apple calls for a complete recall of all stocks of affected Samsung devices from European distributors and resellers, and an legal injunction against "manufacturing, stocking, importing, distributing, trading or selling" by Samsung Korea and its Dutch subsidiaries, which include Samsung Logistics BV and Samsung Overseas BV.

Apple also demands that Samsung be compelled to notify all of its channel clients of a recall of all infringing products, and that it offer compensation for retail stock value and the return transportation of the devices. Apple also wants Samsung to warn its resellers that "by storing, offering and/or selling of the above mentioned Galaxy smartphones [and tablets], you commit infringement of the intellectual property rights of Apple."

Apple feels they should have a monopoly on smartphones apparently. Cunts.

And the ironic thing is iPhones use displays made by Samsung.

The Galaxy Tab has already been disallowed from sale in Australia after court proceedings.

It was briefly in most of the EU too, but that was reversed and I think it is only banned in Germany now. Apple actually photoshopped the Galaxy Tab in their court filings to make it look more like an iPad.

On the SII there are two other buttons on both sides of the centered button that are illuminated when you use them.

as days goes, apple thinks they invented smartphones, stupid.

what exactly is the problem? some patents?

There was a story the other day about how Apple doctored some photos that they submitted as part of the lawsuit to make the Galaxy line look even more like a iPhone/iPad.

Dirty business is all around.

The best part about all of this is that Samsung is the main supplier of displays for Apple's hardware.
