Banking Regulation D when overseas
 

Never realized this until today, went to transfer some $ for an ebay/pp purchase and my online banking prevented me. I called the branch up and they said due to "banking regulation D" I'm only allowed 6 interaccount transfers per month if i'm not present in branch, which presents a problem as i've been out of the country for almost a year now. Interesting is all i can say

I believe that is for transfers out of your savings account. Leave most of your money in checking, transfer a "savings" amount every now and then to your "savings" accounts, that's what they were created for.

They are onto you man.
