Starbucks CEO urges boycott of campaign money
 

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz has had it with politicians in Washington and is venting his frustration by closing his checkbook.

The leader of the giant coffee chain is urging fellow business leaders to join him in withholding campaign donations to President Obama and members of Congress.

Closing his checkbook simply causes opportunity for others to get in their and buy them. Ideas and gestures are nice, but true reform needs to happen in the system. It will take a bit more than attention seeking gestures and marketing gimicks of CEOs to attract customers and amuse shareholders.

So in other words he wants only people that are independently wealthy to run for office? LOL what a douche...
