I use the FakeCall Free app on a weekly basis to get out of stuff. It has gotten me out of more uncomfortable silences.

Hehe On my phone I can set up a fake call with a fake call voice and set it to the time, Never used it yet though

Back before cell phones were cheap and popular I used a fake pager call to escape from a very bad blind date I was on. Told her I was getting a page that I need to respond to and I would be right back once I found a payphone. Never went back. It was mean, but she was nasty.

Yeah dude, last time we were hanging out and my cell phone "rang" and I had to "take the call" and then walked away from you, remember? LOL

No. I have the option on my phone but I simple tell people that I have stuff to do rather that talk with my imaginary friend on the phone. This is childish

i did it few times, thanks god on alarms and fake ringing on new phones, make me proud :D

yeah once , when i was teen and wanted to show off and fun fact is the phone was also dummy.

Best way to make someone look a right twat is to ring them while they are pretending to be on the phone.

Yeah, Was pretending to be on the phone at this party and funny enough the music stopped and I was still talking - then my phone rang. I didn't have call waiting back then either, so I left the party with people laughing at me. Never again will I fake a call.

Almost every day when I spot a certain neighbor before he spots me.

He is also a registered sex offender. He wouldn't normally be able to live here but is grandfathered in because he lived here before the law passed. For this reason he will probably never move. :(

Totally... I think everyone has... I've even gone the extra step to laugh out loud at a funny joke told by the person on the other end as well as do the, "Hello, are you still there?" check by pulling the phone away and looking to see if the time is still counting.. Makes it look more realistic than just pretending to talk to someone...
