Do you like vintage motorcycles? (pics/vid)
 

A couple weeks ago, goodgirl and I headed up to Solvang for a couple of days. Before heading home we stopped by the Solvang Motorcycle Museum.

I have been a fan of vintage bikes for 35 years and thought I had a pretty good grasp of the different makes of motorcycles that have been made, but they had several I had never even heard of.

That is a 1922 Megola. That is one bike I had never heard of, but the front wheel drive fascinated me. You might remember when we were kids there were these small gas-powered airplanes that had engines similar to these. I had to know how it sounded, so I tracked down this YouTube video



It sounds just like I thought it would. Judging by the bikes in the background of the garage, this guy has a pretty nice collection himself.

It is a nice ride/drive no mater which way you take to get there.
