Dream Analysis: My Teeth Are Falling Out..

"Teeth" in the dream world are most often an archetypal image of the dreamer's sense of confidence and competence in the waking world. Dreaming that there is something amiss with my teeth usually points to insecurities about my ability to "get my teeth into it," or maybe I've "bitten off more than I can chew."
Ironically, the very fact that you remember such a dream is a reliable indicator that the you, the dreamer, can deal creatively and transformatively with the problems that life presents. If this were not the case, you would not even have remembered the dream. All dreams (even nightmares!) come in the service of health and wholeness, and no dream ever came to anyone to say, "Nyah, nyah--you've got these problems and you can't do anything about them!" The more emotionally charged, or urgent the dream, the more likely that it points to a creative possibility previously hidden from the conscious mind, in response to a pressing waking life problem.

FIRST get you teeth checks... you may have problems...

if you dream that they Fall out or Crumble out and you are spitting them in your hands then it means that you need to stop jerking off while looking in the mirror... the vision of yourself in the mirror while you clench your teeth while cumming horriflies you so you are having nightmares:Graucho

I've heard it's connected to Vanity.

Monique Niccole 01-29-2003 03:23 PM

I had a similar dream where I was at a basketball game and all of my teeth started falling out of my mouth and onto my lap. It was extremely disturbing. Even more disturbing was that my cousin who is a dentist was also in the dream. Weird.

last night I dreamed Dr. Phil died, I dream of people dying a lot, must be because I am very afraid to die (or don't want to die, rather) myself. Lot of young people I know are dying of cancer lately too:(
Plus I lost a lot of people last 5 years, must be it:helpme

Oh shit .. this thread wasn't about me me me me me

marzzo 01-29-2003 03:36 PM

I had a dream a while ago that my teeth were exploding in my mouth like firecrackers, blood everywhere. Then soon after, in real life, I got really really sick. There might be a connection, I dunno. :glugglug

Titan 01-29-2003 04:10 PM

I had that dream as well a few times. I brushed my teeth more often and I haven't had it since.

Catalinas 01-29-2003 05:59 PM

I have the teeth crumbling dream about twice a year... it really icks me out. I wake up with my teeth hurting because I think I am pushing my top teeth out with my bottom teeth.. it really scares me that I'm gonna actually break a tooth during the dream...

I've had it a few times.. supposed to mean a fear of growing old.. who knows...

Undutchable 01-29-2003 07:02 PM

Get this people: Dream analysis is a crock of shit. If you believe it, call the psychic line now, it'll be right up your alley

The brain is immensely complex, we have not even BEGUN to understand it. And now some schmuck claims he can tell you what a tooth that falls out means for your personal life? Get the fuck out of here!

Hey...maybe the three of us could get on a conference phone call and talk about these other dreams together...:Graucho

Look to Chinese medicine -- they are thousands of years ahead with respect to the significance of our body :) Also the strength of your teeth and bones -- directly related to the vitality of your kidney...

"IT is well known from ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine that the teeth are not only related to the body physically but also energetically. The existence of the acupuncture meridian systems is not a debatable point given the massive body of scientific evidence. It is also known that the acupuncture meridians are named for the organs through which they pass and the tissue they 'irrigate' (or 'innervate' in essence). Each meridian also passes through a particular tooth area (odonton) thus relating each tooth to specific organs. As this relationship has to do with energy flow, we can observe a tooth problem effecting an organ or the opposite; an organ affecting a tooth condition. We have observed numerous instances of tooth issues affecting specific organs and validated this objectively with computerized regulation thermography as well as with electroacupucnture testing which has been performed for more than 40 years with extensive clinical and scientific validation."

Do a google search on teeth and Chinese medicine and you may be suprised w/ what you come up w/...

"Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches that a weak or damaged kidney/bladder system can produce:

? Diseases of spinal column, bones, teeth and joints."

Also think about what your teeth represent to you. Don't deny that you are an animal! Maybe you just need to go out and get a big bloody steak and just chew that motherfucker up...

if it's not your house falling over, then you're okay

but if it is, that means that your web server will be down for a week

btw dreaming about eating oranges means that you need to defrag the disk =)
