contact me 130321510 to follow through with the refund procedure

Thank you

AdultKing 08-14-2011 03:26 AM

What amount did he sting you for ?

jscott 08-14-2011 03:31 AM

Well, i'll give him a chance to refund me

If not then I'll release full details, amounts, his sites, name, accounts, usernames and all
this is really bullshit

webmax 08-14-2011 05:53 AM

yeah he scammed me too.

proton 08-14-2011 06:28 AM

He's sold a ton of links on here, if all his sites are down I'm sure this thread will blow up.

~Ray 08-14-2011 06:32 AM

there was a webmaster on here years ago that sold lifetime links. he then sold the sites and told everyone that by lifetime, he meant for as long as he owned the sites.

so every webmasters version of lifetime seems to be different. what if he is 70 years old. not as good of a deal as if he were 20 years old.

how long is lifetime?
how long is a piece of string?

A YEAR is a YEAR. See sig.

Have a nice weekend,

Havent seen him around in a long time.

jscott 08-14-2011 07:16 AM

Ray, would you say 1 year is longer time than "lifetime/permanent"?

Also, when webmasters are advertising as "i'm selling lifetime/permanent links, hit me up"

IF those links come down within 3 years, that is a fucking scammer in my book. he's promoting it as like your links will be online forever.... yet back of his mind he probably knows he'll pull down the sites and let them expire after he's sold enough of them.

I did learn lesson here. BUT, i did get scammed too, so if my $ not refunded I'll put all his information that I have on him on a blacklist so he can be searched and ppl can findout background info about this guy

jscott 08-14-2011 07:27 AM

check this out:

https://gfy.com/search.php?searchid=3868770

Look how many times he's using permanent/lifetime as a selling point
fucking piece of shit this guy

what I meant is.. get a specific time period. From this date to this date.

lifetime is too vague and open to interpretation. too many people failing out of business to not be specific.

what he did was shitty and so was the lifetime offer. His vague busiess model eventually failed.

jscott 08-14-2011 07:55 AM

Yes you are right, and yes I have learned my lesson about this. I will attempt at making agreements on lifetime/permanent links from now on.

Something to the effect of:

"I'm buying lifetime links from you, can you ensure the site be up at least 3 (or 5 or whatever) years, if not then I am entitled for refund"

Something like that :)

TrashyGirl 08-14-2011 12:15 PM

I had inquired about his backlink service @ a year ago and asked him to qualify what he meant by lifetime links, here was his reply (I highlighted the "lifetime" detail, his definition of lifetime and the dictionary definition of lifetime aren't in synch)

hello

here are the sites 100 blogs .. links are lifetime perms meaning they will be up for a few years... multi c class and b class ips

paypal add $3 for paypal fee

get on all sites in list for $60.. I add them on 20 a day..

get 3 links for $125

mindfvck 08-14-2011 01:10 PM

yep. in most cases "lifetime" or "permanent" links are gone earlier than year )

jscott 08-14-2011 01:11 PM

Thanks Trashy Girl
We already know he's a scammer, but this confirms it 10000%

jscott: It's unfortunate, but his sites have been down for some time now. I remember a thread several months ago where someone was asking about Usualent as his/her links were gone too.

It's becoming more and more apparent that those interested in working hardlink deals really need to perform due diligence these days more than ever, to ensure the people with whom they are doing business are both stable in their respective business models, and reputable.

Get me on ICQ if you like and I can probably get you on a few sites within our network at no cost to help you get back on track with your lost links from Usualent. After all, you've been with me/us for some time now, and I certainly don't mind.

brassmonkey 08-14-2011 01:38 PM

i think he's on vacation if you know what im sayin ill call him monday

jscott 08-15-2011 01:54 AM

rob, thanks SO much.... but i cant accept that, you gave me good feeling for that offer, and that was good enough man, THANK YOU
you see everyone, still some good hearts in this biz!!!

brassmonkey, any luck?

Isn't he also the same guy who often ask for Paypal transfers?

What an awesome way to cover up and protect oneself from paypal chargebacks, by having the linkbuyer send money to one Paypal address and then have that Paypal owner pay you back via say Paxum or something else which doesn't have chargebacks.

I'm not 100% sure, but I kind of remember him asking for a lot of transfers.

Paypal will not issue refund if you paid for digital goods as well. So really no need to do Paxum cover up.
Tip: never ever mark services or say its link trade or something. Always put "goods" and description like "used laptop".
