Anyone using AEBN feeds?

I'm trying to suss out info on Adult Internet
Broadcast Network. Anyone here using their feeds?

If so, I'd like to hear how much bandwidth they use up, monthly, for a site with about 500 members? I'm concerned about staying within the 120 gigs they allow per month -- is that a good ammount or not enough or???

Thanks.

DN

Depends on your surfers. Primarily broadband or dial-up?

About 50/50.

Hi,

This is Robert from AEBN. You can take the high end speeds off if you like to make sure that you stay within the limits. We gave alot of websites a free feed package before we started our feed program to see what the average amount of bandwidth was for each package. It really depends on how many of your users are using dial up or cable etc. Let me know if you need any help ;)

Thanks!

Excuse me, but what does that have to do with anything? Or are you saying that's something we could do now? So if I want to try a free feed package, or have a free month to determine bandwidth useage I should contact you to set this up?

Can't you talk averages and give some sort of idea that would help the webmaster make a decision?

Averages can't be said easily, b/c where are you putting the feed. are you burying it deep in your members area. Multiple links, Big image and link at the front of your site. How many other feeds do you have. How many times do users log in on average a day. Do you run several programs to make sure ppl aren't 'forcably' adding passwords (happens often), and are you protected against ppl sharing passwords. This all comes into account.

Hey ZoiNk

thanks for the informative response. and timely, too. I just found out that we've had a bunch of people 'forcably' adding user/passwords into our .htpassword file. Though I think they are doing it via CCBill's script, I'm not sure. What do you recommend for checking and catching this kind of shit. It sorta freaked me.

Thanks

and that's why feed suppliers have to measure bandwidth usage per customer. The ones who don't and there are some who don't are insane OR their content is so shitty that overages don't happen. Password leaks and URL spoofers can blindside a paysite owner with huge unexpected overage bills but I think good feed suppliers shut off the feeds if there is a crazy surge in bandwidth from a customer's site.
