Making money discussion...
Hi,
After 4 years being in the online biz I would like to write my own "How to make money online". First: 1) Do not buy a tube script and then upload videos to it... that my friend is a sure disaster waiting to happen. 2) Think of what turns you on ;) I mean... is there a niche not yet explored? 3) Remember that adult traffic will not convert... that is unless you have something. 4) Back to 2... what niche haven't you explored? Me... I made over 100K on strip poker and why? It was because it was a niche not really explored in adult. Now... here's the kicker... 100K per year is easy, not only in adult but also mainstream. Why? Because, it is about having something someone else doesn't. That way, my friends, you can charge whatever the fuck you want... :thumbsup So you read this far.. what are you going to do? I don't know... maybe pick up your camera and film your gf or wife screaming at you for being so fat and ugly :warning If you don't have a wife... think about something else... simple shit like ... I'm a loser and I have a site for losers to give comfort... charge $1 for an internet hug... $2 for a pic of your gf with an internet hug included... Do you see what I'm saying? BTW... I just tripled my income yesterday by implementing ideas in my head that came to fruit tation ... So the above means 10%... max 20%.... the real money lies in how you sell it. Every fucking little detail... and remember, do not be shy to charge to much :thumbsup That is my contribution to the forum of lost cause :pimp |
I like that!!

The secret, however, is making money from things everyone has, that's the juicy bit of this equation :)

If you sell something for $1 why can't you sell it for $10.... did somebody say something? You know what i'm saying? |

The problem with the "How you sell it" approach is that it's easily copied and this industry is 95% copiers. So coming up with a unique product that can't be copied easily or making money on it before it's saturated is the key. We've been shining shit for years and the buyers are no longer easily fooled. Quote:
Most will tell you it's all down to how much free stuff you give away and how many 1,000s you send to a site. The product is further down the list. |
Your definition of easy is pretty loose.
Easy to me is doing nothing at all. Hard = working. |
Here's some more food for thought. Really only for sponsors.
1. Think of or find something that 100s of other people can't do or do as well. Something that can't be copied and saturated. Yes still mainstream. Micro niche isn't the answer for many, it's easily flooded, easily copied and unless you really know the niche it's like a Chinese man selling to an Eskimo. 2. Budget it out and work out how to make it profitable. 3. Then build and launch. 4. Understand the buyer is not easily fooled, coned or tricked like he was. Respect him. For the last 12 years, few in online porn have come up with anything that can't be duplicated and then saturated. Exclusive does sell, but not if it's the same exclusive everyone else has. And not if it's exclusive crap. The history of people who went this route is there for all to see. We all know sites that offered something different, better and really exclusive. If you're not good enough at producing the product, find someone who is and form a partnership. You do what you're best at while letting him do what he's best at. Don't try to duplicate what he does, unless you are really capable of doing it. |

And it IS LIMITED... But get this - Here is the secret... SO IS THE COMPETITION. Like you say, give them something that is BANG ON THE BUTTON, and cant be found in that many other places... WINNER ! My stuff is NOT all over tubes - Cause its not 'Tube appriprate' But those who want it, SEEK IT OUT... And I can charge what I want... I recently lowered prices by 25% as an experiment... It tanked. RASIED PRICES by 35 / 40 % Back to doing good again... Infact, I dont think I charge enough for my stuff :thumbsup |

Yes there's a problem with Tubes, but Tubes will start to hit Micro niches soon enough. Still if you can offer something good, mainstream and that 100s of others can't offer. Then you're going to make bank. A few can make money in Micro, I would think it's still a few today. Because so many tried it and couldn't work it. |
This thread should be bumped

You forgot the hardest and most important part - traffic. If you dont have any, you wont sell anything.

Prove me wrong.. I dare you send me 500,000 hits without an image and i'll give u a cookie ;) Sabby:) |

So having a lot of traffic is the priority #1 and selling unique product to the visitors is #2. There was no mention of ways to get enough traffic from the thread starter. |

Traffic on "niches" is easy, unless your completely incompetent on said niche you will get SE searches. Strip poker traffic was worth 3K per day at the top. Also, lowering prices, as stated earlier will not do better. It is about raising prices, then raise again until you find the top. What I said above is so true its ridiculous! ;) |
With rare niche I could see where higher price might do better as the surfer feels that this site "finally must have what I want" whereas cheap price means prob "junk" or "imposter" to the surfer. You get what you pay for.
Now for the vanilla niches like GF and big tits ect the opposite. They feel why pay 39.95 when I can pay 24.95 for the same thing. Anyhow aprec your efforts. Good thread. Good posts as well Paul. You are 100% on the button in this thread. :) |
Also Paul, I am one of those who realizes it is product not traffic.
With the right product I have all the traffic and profit I need. Vice versa. I am losing my ass. The old days the opposite. Now lots of organic traffic is like The Joker in a game of 500. It trumps what I just said. :) I am talking about those with limited traffic. Those people must sell only the best product to survive. Without product they are out of biz. |
