Has anyone sent anything to olympus to be fixed
 

My e-10 has a problem with pixelation over a f stop of 4.0, I called olympus. They said I have two choices, send the camera to them they fix it takes 10 to 15 days(so they say) or pay $49.95 and they overnight a refurbed camera to us and we send overs back to them. I keep the refurb, I did that once with monitor and never had a problem. Anyone was dealt with olympus before, trying to decide what do .

I sent my olympus e10 back via jessops (a UK retailer)
when it had the dreaded shutterjam (after 250,000+)
Theyhad it for nearly 2 months, and when I recived it back...
IT WAS STILL JAMMED !
They didnt even fix, check, or test it !
UNBELIVABLE !

and they charged me 180 as well !

I had mine fixed by a local authorised depot ! Try and find one in your area. Didnt have a problem they fixed it as promised!:2 cents:
