Cloud storage : do you use it and how much do you pay?
 

Hi,

Just wondering if some of you are using cloud storage for your websites or still use regular hard-drive(s).

If you use it, how much are you paying for it per gig?
I've been quoted $0.30/gig, not sure if that's considerd a normal price or on the high end.

I'd just put gallery content on it. Doesn't really sound much $0.30/gig, but it's monthly and 1TB hard-drives aren't really that expensive either.

Would like to hear your opinion.

i keep my clouds in the closet, it's the safest place to store them.

Are you using it for backup purposes or for content distribution? If it's the former and your data doesn't change much, might be easier to buy a couple of external drives, and keep one at your friends or parents place (swap them regularly)
