What's A Good Idea For An Non Adult Site That Would Profit?

My fiancee want's to build a non adult site that would bring in a few extra bucks, but I don't have a clue of what would be profitable in this sort of market so if you have any suggestions please let us hear them.

Tell her to have a look around here for some ideas. I used to do import/export between the US & Asia and still get a ton of trade publications. This site is listed in several of them and it has quite a large database of suppliers.

Also selling information is always a cheap and easy way to start.

A travel site could work for her. I own a couple of them myself. I use affiliate programs and other than an occasional email and submitting to search engines every so often, that's all I do with them. ( oh, and deposit the checks) Plus, they are great when the school or parents of my childrens friends ask what I do for a living.
