Stun guns don't kill.......mkay.

Another shocking death that does not occur has occurred again.

Please take this shit out of the hands of fat lazy cops/security that can't get
physical with suspects because of fear of wrinkling the uniform.

Terrible that he had to die!

brassmonkey 08-07-2011 11:05 AM

its no secret if you have a heart problem or on drugs it may kill u

DBS.US 08-07-2011 11:07 AM

Officers ordered the teen to back off, but he refused. So they killed him.

Do I what I tell you, or die. The mentality of cops is disgusting, and so is the fact that they get paid leave and smack on the wrist charges after murdering citizens.

"officers" is a dubious way to put them. Rent-a-cop is more like it. Face it if these guys had the chops to be "officers" they wouldn't be working security at a college campus or $8 an hour. They'd be actual cops. A guy who haas the skills to be a master chef doesn't flip burgers at McDonald's for minimum wage.

yet another...

Here's an idea, listen to what the cops tell you to do or deal with it. If people weren't such punks they would need to use them at all.

I guess they could abandon their stun guns a go back to their real guns.

No question that tasers are abused, but I'd wager for every incident of abuse, there are numerous instances in which use of a taser saved lives compared to the alternative.

Back in the old days, officers often had two choices when confronted by a violent suspect(s) ... hand combat with significant risk of injury or shooting them. Getting tased beats getting shot.

They are NOT real cops. Which part of this are you not getting? Thus there would be no guns to give back since FAKE cops are not allowed to carry them.

You have never heard of an armed security guard?

Most real colleges have their own real police departments. The officers are usually state employees. I have no idea how it works in other states but here campus police is made up of a few officers that work solely for the university police and the rest are from capitol police or highway patrol. All of them are actual police officers with the power of arrest.

This is how it always works. A few idiots defend cops, security guards, lawmakers, whoever until that law or law enforcement official uses the unjust measures on them, or their family. Then, they will start complaining, when it's already too late.

wdsguy 08-07-2011 04:21 PM

sounds like GatorB was beatup by cops a couple times.

University campus police are not rent a cops. They are considered police officers as most big public universities have their own police department.

Well I'm sure your solution will be interesting, so lets hear it ...

It's real simple. Punish law makers and law enforcement officials the same way other citizens are punished.

Only hire cops that are physically capable of defending themselves. For example, around here, there's a shit load of female cops that can't be more than 5 foot 2. How are they going to take a perp down? Easy, they taze them or shoot them.

Bring back the physical requirements they used to have years ago. Now anyone can become a cop. I've seen some that seem to struggle walking when wearing all their equipment and probably need a phone book to sit on to see over the dash of their cruiser.

Too bad that happened.
