Oktoberfest gathering - you going?
If so, where are you staying. Looks like Munich is pretty well booked up. Trying to find a reasonable place to stay.
Any hints/tips? TIA |

If all inner city places are booked up I'd try places on the outskirts such as Freising or anything connected to the Munich S-Bahn.
Should get you to the Wiesn within 45 to 60 minutes tops. Edit Also many local places are not hooked up to international reservation systems so I'd try contacting them directly |

Depending on how economic you want to be, a Pension (a guest house) might be an option. http://www.pension.de/stadt-pensione...#zudenhaeusern This one for example goes for 100 euro per single room during the Oktoberfest season, 2 minutes walk to the Theresienwiese. http://www.pension.de/pensionen/muen...wig/50757.html None that I can recommend from experience though. |
Can I live in your house, the three weeks a year you're home I'll get a hotel.

the hotels make like 50% of their yearly revenue in that month, no economy at that time
