Why hate godaddy? Register domain for 1$, wait 2 months, transfer out.

Going this way will get you two years for 1 year price (+1$) ! So pretty good deal if you ask me !

that's what I do. I have roughly 2 domains at Godaddy at any given time... they all get transferred out ASAP.

I'm surprised to read that about directnic. They aren't the cheapest but I have used them since the 90's without a problem.

You have to use a credit card for the promo, not sure if you were trying to use paypal? Also you can only use it once per account, did you change your mind on which domain to buy? I've lost a coupon doing tht before.

I've been using Godaddy for about 10 years and have never had a single problem. I bet these people complaining about GD have never been using them.
