I know some of you guys more than others make pretty good bank. Some of us have some pretty nice cars, houses, etc, etc. and then of course there're guys like boneprone who're just all around studs, haha.

But regardless, my question is on girls, how do you guys judge which girls are in it for the right reasons and which ones are in it for the wrong reasons. I've developed some pretty good tests over the years, but i want to hear what you guys have to say.

And no, i'm not talking about some random girl at a bar, i'm talking about girls that you see somewhat regularly that you'd potentially want to date, does anyone have interesting tests or stories?

The right reasons being she likes you for you, and no other reason... The wrong reasons being shes in it totally for the money and her own benefit, and no matter how good she is at "pretending" she's just in it for herself and really doesnt give a shit about you...

first words out of a girls mouth is usually "so what do you do?"

Also fortunate enough to meet my wife when I didn't have alot of money. Never thought about it but that would have been on my mind if we started dating when I had more.

anyone have any tests?, like example, i take a girl out to dinner, now i'm going to pay for the girl, regardless, but if the girl doesnt at the very least motion for her purse (especially if its the first time i'm out with her), or if she doesnt have the manners/curtesy to say thank you... shes gone...

basically what it comes down to for me is i just immediately get rid of any girl that "expects things", another good test is "do you like burberry?" and the girls that say "is that a fruit?", "who's he", or "the car company?"... keep 'em hahaha (and yes i've heard all those and many, many more haha)

well, merely my oppinion but if its a first date try something low key like coffee shop or something. Worst mistake you can make in a relationship is to statrt off spending cash on a girl. After a while theyll begin to expect you to spend spend spend.

what it all comes down to is if the girl is self-sufficient on her own. very hard to find. an independant women

I know about this but with the tables turned the other way. It's not much fun finding out who you thought was a decent person really has $$ in their eyes. Problem is that alot of them don't even realize it or don't even start out that way.

Here is ONE way that you know if this can work...

Early on, take her on a date to like a cafe or a coffee place, then followed up with something like a nice cruise thru the country side, or a walk somewhere really fly.

Talking on a broad range of topics and the like is a great way to know the person a little more than just looks and the good behavior we have for the date night.

Everyone is on their best behavior for the first 6 months anyway, so, this can take time overall, but, if they stick with you no matter what obstacles are tossed in your path, thats a great way to know whats up. If they bail on you fast, then you know also, whats up.

Committing to someone is when you place their needs above your own at times. Doing little things and being there for each other NO MATTER WHAT.

As I tell my wife, its us against the world, no matter what we can make it cause we have each other's love. With that, you can do anything.

That's not all about money. I ask a guy that because I like intelligent guys and I want to know if he has a job that reflects some sort of intelligence or not. Also, when you have just met someone, you are looking for some common ground to talk about, and jobs are easy to talk a little about.

I totally agree with the coffee shop, walk in the park sort of thing at first. I love those sorts of dates anyway, just sitting around, talking, and getting to know the person. You learn more about them walking through the park then you do at an expensive restuarant. People are more themselves and you know they are there because of you, not because you are buying them stuff.
