Need wordpress help
Hey guys, just a quick question. It may be as simple as a slap in the face but I can't seem to figure it out.
Lets say I make a bunch of "pages" but don't want them to show up at the top the theme with the other pages. How do I stop them from showing up at the top of the theme but still allow other pages to show up? |
You can either use a custom menu
Appearance > Menu Or you can find a plugin that allows you to exclude certain pages from showing up unless you manually call them |
ok thanks . def need a plugin or hardcore the pages that I want to appear in the themes menu bar. I was scratching my brain trying to figure this one out haha
|
wp admin -> Appearance -> Menus
and set drag and drop pages you want to be shown in there.. theme must support that... |

Been using this heavily for about a year now and it works perfectly. It puts an option to include or exclude the page from the menu bar when creating new pages. |
wp_list_pages() has an exclude line
