    GFY forums for Coders/Designers/Etc

    It would be nice if there was a specific forum for coders or designers, etc..

    I have asked questions for coding php/python on mainstream forums, and they immediately knew that I was an adult webmaster due to the nature of the question. It would be nice to be able to discuss these things in a community that is adult related, and not just a general "Webmaster Q & Fuckin' A" area.

      The mainstream forum died a horrible death upon creation, another specific forum will do the same. Very few people look in the other forums on GFY. There are ample and better places to discuss specific coding problems and issues.

              They put mainstream on an adult forum, thats like putting gay pornstars on freeone's front page. They should never have done that, and your comparison is simply stupid, but I suppose that is what keeps this place barely running.

                          You made an irrelevant post and pretended to sound useful, my response was deserving.

                          I also never implied once that my coding questions were not responded well due to an attitude issue that you imply, that was your insecurity filling in gaps. My questions on mainstream forums were not well understood because they could not comprehend certain adult website techniques.

                          How you came to the conclusion that mainstream topics would compare to adult coding topics does not make sense, hence the reason I believe your post to be idiotic.

                          People bitch and complain 24/7 about the fall of the adult industry with tubes, ratios, etc... Yet the largest issue to date is the complete negativity and instant shooting down of ideas without any logical thought.

                                                                  "Fucking Around & Program Discussion" is the only section I visit on a regular basis. The other sections I only visit once a month or some even once a year.

                                                                  If you want people to see your post, post it in "Fucking Around & Program Discussion". There's no need for a special coding or what not section.

                                                                  The crappiest boards out there are the ones with a subsection for every possible subject.

                                                                                          In body of section should be the ability for programmers to fill out what they do and then allow gfy members to rate the programmer and leave comments.

                                                                                          Now that would be very useful.
