I'm 9 years old today...
 

That's 9 years -- to the day -- that I entered The Whacky World That is Adult Entertainment.

I had just discovered I lost out on a tenure-track position, went to Casey Moore's to drown my sorrows over a pint, and meet up with Jason B., and together we started our first pay site featuring exclusive content. Or second (big) mistake immediately followed -- taking on a third business partner.

And here I am -- 9 years and God knows how many scenes under my belt.

Good, bad, and ugly...I'm still surprised, on an almost daily basis, at what's about to happen next.

Yeah, I started in 2001 full time, seems like just yesterday.

Just think how much productivity you destroyed with all those millions of people rubbing it out to your content 24/7. Or on the positive side...how many rapes and other crimes you prevented by providing an outlet for aggression and perversions.

I actually shot from the end of '98 through 99...but then quit when the college gave me a full-time gig. I sold all my sites to Jason B., then took a two year sabbatical from adult to make my attempt at tenure.

I don't regret any of it.
