paul what might be helpful is a little transparency. how about some global stats, like submit / sales / rejection rates, scrub rates like declines for bad info, rebill rates, etc. if we had a better idea of the overall health of the system, it might be easier to judge what is going on over all of the sites we run and the other programs we promote.

Those stats would be fascinating to see! :thumbsup

CCBill is a fine company. They're still here, processing, while others struggle and play games.

Having said that, let me add that because of the debt ceiing NONSENSE here in the US, and the stock market losing over 500 points in a week because of it, it would not surprise me that the merchant banks CCBill does business with (and this would include Epoch, too) put the brakes on somewhat during this unsettling time. Sales were good last month but not great, not when you favtor in all the extra work and traffic that went into my sites, but considering the above July was actually all right.

August? Well, half of Europe and the US is on Holiday (vacation) so.....LOL

Better stats would be helpful CCBill. :)

No need for CCBill to divulge information that other processors don't divulge, mainstream or otherwise, unless you're talking about just your account stats, and not their stats for all sites to be released to the public.

the idea is that if you have an overall view of the health of the processing, and what is going on, when you see a downturn you will know if is something specific to a site or program, or something that applies overall to everyone.

it might also give some programs some idea of how they should be converting so they can improve.
