You're welcome and they will definitely reply.
But you want an application to crop the images on your server or a software to crop the images on your pc and then upload them yourself on your server (this is kinda what I understood you want since you said you tried in Photoshop) ?

TGP cropper was one of the tools I used to love when I did blogs. Was a very fast and handy way to make thumbs, with out having to do it from a web based script.

garce 07-30-2011 07:03 PM

If you want to crop thumbs locally, you could check out Easy Thumbs

I haven't used it in awhile, but it did a pretty good job when I did use it.

pornsprite 07-30-2011 11:13 PM

If you want to create thumbs on a linux server try using gthumb.

i seem to remember that you leave the serial number blank, i'm not sure those, thats from memory. Try doing a search on the JMB support forum, i think there was a thread about his legacy programs.

Registration

TGP Cropper has been transitioned from a commerical product to a freeware product, and therefore you will see a registration screen the first time you run the program. Make sure you are connected to the internet before you complete this process. On the first window that appears, select the Evaluate button. You can then access the Help menu to select the Register... option. You can enter anything in the Username and Serial Number fields. Press the Register button to complete the registration. TGP Cropper will exit and you will need to restart it to work with the full unlocked version.

mightyjoe 08-01-2011 05:11 AM

crop manually.

automated cropper are crap!

they are only good for one sized photo batch.

but if you have horizontal and vertical on your photo batch and different sizes, expect a very bad results. :1orglaugh

stay away for automated cropper. your client might kick you out.

@mightyjoe: it works very well i tried it but when i save the image it appears with a big red X on it.
I need this software license or something, so it could work properly.

no way! you know what is horizontal and vertical? and different size, like 500x600, 900x400, 200x100?

how the hell the automated software cropper can make a perfect thumbs for those?

back in the day when i'm still a gallery submitter, i used to use different kind of automated cropper and no one give a perfect thumbs for the given sizes.

Ramirez 08-01-2011 05:27 AM

How do you crop manually? i have no clue.
