    Ok. Windows XP 64 for the PERSONAL COMPUTERS, is awesome.

    It's been a few years since I have installed Windows XP 64 for Personal Computers (PC), and let me just say that it is awesome, especially if you are using the Keyboard or Mouse. In case you don't know, these special gadgets combined with Windows XP 64 keyboard and mouse drivers work PERFECTLY together.

    After a short time to get used to it, I can use the hotkeys and mouse gestures. I can nab between active and background apps much faster than those who use Mac OS, because the application menu in Windows is located in the application window but not on the top of the screen. So I don't need to do any additional moves to get to the non-active window's menu (don't need to click inactive application to make its menu visible).

    Lovers of non-personal computers (e.g. Apple users) are getting seriously left behind when it comes to technology, interfaces, ease of use and stability. You really really really need to checkout PERSONAL COMPUTERS!

              i agree, my laptop is runnign xp64 and my desktop has w7 64, i like the xp a lot better. cept for windows search, that is a mem hog eh.

                              When I tried Xp 64 I remember there weren't many drivers for it. Looked great but very poor hardware support.

                                                              Anyone that says XP is better than 7 has not tried 7.

                                                              XP was a giant pain in the ass for me, and I'm glad I don't have to use it anymore.

                                                                                                              Yes, I don't have a super-duper PC. One Win7 runs on Core2Duo 8Gb and another on i7 16Gb. Both suck a donkey dick comparing with other computers that still run under XP 64 bit (ever with lesser configs). Can you please help me to make them work as fast as they have to? Pleeeeeeeease

                                                                                                                  i have a super duper rig running a very clean windows 7 install and only adobe creative suite 5 installed on it, chrome and ie9, and the start up & shut down are a bit slower than my laptop running xp. i also do not care for how it powers down the drives.
