Comments on Porn Blogs?
 

Do you guys bother? Do you use the default wordpress comment system (which I'm doing plus captcha) or have you guys tried disqus or intensedebate plugins?

The ratio of 1 real comment for every 500 spam comments isn't really worth it in my opinion when it comes to Wordpress.

WP spam has been increasing for me tenfold this month.

Default one + akismet..

Yeah thats why I usually disable it all.. but if you use captcha I find it really helps. But some of these comments are just stupid.. silly indian traffic posting their phone numbers.. people just saying fuck.. not much seo fodder!

Since my blog is "real" in the sense that it is, I do allow comments, and the default Wordpress comment system works well for me, and it seems to get "smarter" the more comments are left.

its so much spam IMO, even with the anti-spam filters. i took them off

i remove all comment forms from all my blogs 200+

I remove the comment function on my blogs. In all my years Ive had only few real comments, the rest is spam or BS. Even my mainstream blogs get so much crap vs any real comments.

comments not worth it, too much spam, i used to spend hours going thru deleting spam because i wanted to keep legit comments, realized after a while that it's not worth it at all
