Seriously, that is the ugliest site I have seen in a long time. Red text on a blue background? I would agree with the comment that your designer should be fired, but no way the person that built that site should ever be considered a designer. :2 cents:

Fire them all and hire an industry leading designer, I would hope you have the budget to spend a couple grand on a design team that at least has basic understandings of usability, color theory, and grid systems.

It's actually interesting to hear the responses to the design. We test multiple designs, colors, and text so maybe you should try to promote it before you knock it. :) Sometimes the ugly bird gets the worm.

Well, personally I don't care a lot about design as long as it converts. However this one is really bad (imo) and if this turned out to be the best of multiple designs I would not want to see what those others looked like ;)

The design is so bad there's even a bug in the screenshot you posted. I'm pretty sure the search icon was not supposed to be below the search bar in the top right corner. Come on guys ;)

When you reduce or enlarge the size of the screen to take a screenshot, that sometimes happens to any design.
