Alot of surfer traffic on the webmaster pages.. good or bad?
 

I'm thinking.. maybe it would be a bad idea to keep them away from there.. it might generate sales even if alot of them are freeloaders

bad imo.

Pages aimed at surfers should be optimized to sell the product you are trying to sell.

Webmasters already know to look for tiny "webmasters" or "affiliates" links at the bottom of the page. Mixing those links in with the normal navigation links at the top of the page creates a kind of internal traffic leak.
